Four orphaned bear cubs captured last summer in the Colorado Springs area were put back into the mountains by Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials Tuesday. The cubs, which had been maturing at Wet Mountain Wildlife in Wetmore, were tranquilized, weighed, tagged and taken by snowmobiles and trucks inside manmade dens into the Wet Mountains. Above, a cub found in the Crystal Park neighborhood near Manitou Springs is pulled into one of the manmade dens.
